Although most beauty product companies usually choose to market themselves by showcasing the beauty of some beautiful girls and women according to traditional society standards, Lux has chosen to go even deeper and support these girls in their daily journey down the street.

It shows men how a woman can suffer during her daily journey in the street that they may not know anything about

 

Many women are exposed daily to abuse and comments about their appearance and clothes, which sometimes force them to imagine that beauty

It may be dangerous if it appears and that she has to hide her beauty and disavow it if she wants to walk in the streets of capitals safely

 

Here, Lux created her campaign to spread awareness by cooperating with City walk platform, which allows its users to walk through the streets of cities and streets. Lux added a new option in addition to the platform options, which allow  the visitor to choose whether the walk is male or female, while allowing the audio component to hear the comments that girls can hear during her normal day

Lux launched the campaign entitled Walk in her shoes and published the video of walking as a woman and as a man through one of the streets of Cairo through its channels on the YouTube platform, and the video appeared as a funded advertisement during the past months

 

At the end of the video, some men talk about their point of view after the experience, about what they did not know about from the experience of women walking in the streets, and about their belief that comments are natural and harmless, which is not true.
